This is the official homepage of the Bureau of Driveby
Punning (BDP). I, Morris Legran Cox, am the
President of the BDP. Until recently, the BDP was highly classified.
Parts of it still are. However, it was decided to disclose certain
documents and details of the BDP when the sister bureaus of BDH and
DBK were partly disclassified.
BDH: Bureau of Driveby Hugging.
BDK: Bureau of Driveby Kissing.
BDP: Bureau of Driveby Punning.
DBP: Driveby Punner or Driveby Punning.
Dossier: A file of information on someone.
Driveby Pun: A quick or sudden pun, usually with no warning.
Driveby Punner: One who gives a driveby pun.
The history of the BDP is based on the BDH and the BDK. The concept of
driveby punning was thought up due to a Dr. Lunt, though based on the
concepts of driveby hugging and driveby punning. The first license given
was given to him as a recogition of his humor talents. The BDP went
public only very recently. The decision was made to make licenses
available in paper format and also to issue pun gun permits.
