My Date I was just on a date. Boy, it sure was great. I should have gone long ago. I'm just not very bold. I took her to see my parents that be. Until they were told, they didn't know. Our dates and us guys, gave my parents a surprise. Dad sat there rapt; Mom just laughed. Then we went to go bowl, but that the lanes were full I didn't know. Away to the duck ponds, it didn't take very long. We fed the ducks, it only took a few bucks. Then there were fish; So big they could have been a dish. Then to watch part of a baseball game. To me, it seemed pretty tame. We found a way to make the mosquitoes not bite, and the birds ate them in the light. On to the swings, for a time to take wing. Next was the slide, form a train, then down glide. Back to the car, on the way watch the stars. We didn't really tarry, away we went to Jerry's. A meal we did enjoy, the girls and us boys. We showed the food who was boss; ate our greens with the sauce. Of fun there was no lack, but we had to take the girls back. Something at me did tug, so I gave my date a hug. I enjoyed my date. Hope you all can relate. I know not what else to say. I'll date another day. Morris Cox April 30, 1998
